On the first day, we will pick you up between 06.00 and 07.00 AM in Malang City or the surrounding area. We can meet at your hotel, guesthouse, the airport, or another meeting point as requested. From there, we’ll take a two-hour drive from Malang to the Tumpak Sewu Waterfall area in Lumajang. We should arrive around 09.00 AM.
Once we reach the site, our team will give you a briefing and share details about the spots at Tumpak Sewu Waterfall. Following are several spots we’ll explore.

Exploring Tumpak Sewu usually takes about 3 to 5 hours. After the adventure, you’ll return to your accommodation near the waterfall to rest for a while. If the weather is good, we’ll take you to Bukit Seriti to watch the sunset from the hilltop and enjoy the beautiful view of Lumajang City. If the timing is right, you might even see the lava flow from Mount Semeru, a rare sight that few other places can offer.

After enjoying the lava flow view, we’ll head back to the accommodation for some rest and dinner. The next morning, at 5:00 AM, we’ll set off for an off-road adventure at the foot of Mount Semeru, where you can watch the sunrise. This off-road trip usually takes about 2.5 to 4 hours. You’ll have fun navigating various terrains, such as crossing rivers with large rocks and passing through beautiful pine forests in the early morning.
After the off-road adventure, we’ll return to the accommodation for breakfast and checkout. You can take a shower at the accommodation or wait until we reach the next destination.
Our next stop after checkout is Ciblungan Waterfall, which is on the way back to Malang. The route to the waterfall is short, just a 50-meter descent down some steps. At this waterfall, you can relax or take a refreshing dip. Its beautiful scenery and fresh water are the perfect end to your trip. After visiting Ciblungan Waterfall, we’ll take you back to your requested drop-off point.
